Cure (A Strandville Zombie Novel) by Belinda Frisch - Review Like many people with a kindle (I suspect), I download a lot of free books. I hate to say it, but many of them just don't do it for me. Honorable mention winner in the New York Book Festival (Better Left Buried) and runner-up in the Halloween Book Festival (Cure), Belinda’s work has appeared in Shroud Magazine, been acquired by Thomas Mercer (Fatal Reaction), and was once optioned for film (Cure). When she isn't reading, gaming, or penning her next novel, she's enjoying time with her husband and a mixed pack of herding dogs who might be her biggest fans. When she disappears, her husband, Scott, aims to put an end to the nefarious experiments by teaming up with Zach and a group of local men whose wives and daughters have also been turned into “Nixon’s Petri dish[es].” Creepy and claustrophobic, with enough gore to please any zombie-phile, Frisch’s book begins promisingly.
